Step Five:
Last step. For those who have not previously registered to use voterVOICE, please go to the user profile and enter your email address and zip code.
This will prompt the new user to voterVOICE to provide a minimal amount of information for purposes of matching you to your correct public officials.
Upon registering with voterVOICE (and voterVOICE is a free service provided by the IRTA), you are free to use the online advocacy tool anytime. When you return, you may use the user profile as seen on the left for future visits.
That’s it!
Ask Your Legislator These Questions
1. Will you oppose any action to prohibit subsidizing the state budget with cutbacks in appropriations to the TRS system?
2. Will you oppose any effort to limit or strip teachers and retirees of their role on the Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees and their own control over investments and programs?
3. Will you oppose legislation that cuts back or limits our current TRAIL (aka TRIP) retiree insurance?
4. (FEDERAL) Will you support the repeal of the federal pension off-set provision which blocks TRS members and certain other public employees from receiving Social Security benefits that they have otherwise earned?
A one-minute call by YOU could make the difference. Be a cheerleader for IRTA!
Thank you!
