Those desiring annual dues to IRTA can get a bargain by signing up for dues deduct via TRS at only $2.50 a month instead of $40, the annual rate. Why? It saves costly annual paperwork and office time. State life membership is $400. The DuPage Unit dues are $10 annual or 5 years for $45. Our dues follows the calendar year.
Mary Rogers, our membership chair, is looking for ambassadors to help approach new retirees by mail or phone. These are not complicated or difficult tasks---just friendly outreach.
PLEASE send us the names and ADDRESSES of new retirees you know. Contact them. Our members are our best membership ambassadors.
